About Milen

Milen Mahadevan is Chief Data and AI Officer for The Kroger Co. and President of 84.51°, Kroger’s retail data science, insights and media division. He leads enterprise data and AI strategy as well as customer technology and analytics and is focused on expanding the depth and breadth of AI integration, customer intelligence and data-driven decision-making across the business.

Milen oversees 84.51°’s best-in-class analytics, Kroger Precision Marketing and alternative profit portfolio, connecting data, AI and technology to deliver innovation, stronger performance and improved customer experiences. He was named President of 84.51° in 2020 after serving as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Kroger’s Chief Data and AI Officer in 2026.

Mahadevan holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Imperial College in London, England.
