84.51° Furthers Commitment to Diversity, Names Terron Wilson New Talent Manager
To further its commitment to women and diversity in the workplace, 84.51° has created a role focused on driving its Diversity & Inclusion roadmap. Terron Wilson will join the Human Resources team as Talent Manager, Diversity & Inclusion.
In her newly-created role, Wilson will focus on ensuring 84.51° is driving a diverse candidate pipeline in its University and experienced-hire recruiting. She will help 84.51° establish relationships with historically black colleges and universities and broaden their recruiting efforts at existing university partners.
The announcement comes on the heels of 84.51°’s announcement of the Power Squad – a joint collaboration with the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, designed to invest in the development of women of color, their active participation in International Women’s Day and establishment of their own MARC group (Men Advocating for Real Change).
“Terron has been on our 84.51° Inclusion Council from its start and has demonstrated great leadership and passion for Diversity & Inclusion,” says Beth Giglio, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at 84.51°. “We are excited to leverage her skills and experiences from her Client Management roles with CPGs as she helps us build great external relationships in the talent industry.”
Wilson will also lead the execution of 84.51°’s three-year Diversity & Inclusion strategy which focuses on driving outcomes such as removing algorithmic bias and ensuring the company’s leadership is fostering and cultivating an inclusive culture.
Wilson began her 10-year career with the 84.51° family in 2008 as a Senior Campaign Manager in its Communications and Media group. She grew within 84.51°, earning the roles of Associate Director and Director, also in Communications and Media. In her previous position as Lead Media Planner, she consulted with six CPG clients to develop customer-focused strategies, resulting in positive growth of their brands at Kroger.
