Most (94%) football fans watch at home, but 63% tune in at a friend or family member’s house, making game day the perfect excused to share snacks and treats. 3 out of 4 shoppers who watch football, do so at least once a week creating endless opportunities to connect over football.

Game Day Go-To’s 

Football season snacking stays true to tradition, with chips, dips, sodas and alcohol leading the lineup as game day must-haves.

Taste, Price and Convenience are the Real MVPs 

Shoppers put taste at the top of the priority list when selecting game day food, followed by price and convenience, keeping game day hangs affordable, easy to set up and delicious.

Prepping for Kickoff 

A majority (84%) of shoppers are stocking up on their tailgate essentials 1 to 3 days in advance. Even so, 62% still grab their game day snacks and meals on the weekends.

…But Some Things Stay the Same: Pickup and Delivery Habits Stay in Bounds!

Even though football season shakes up weekend routines, grocery shopping modalities remain steady. In fact, 71% of shoppers report using the same level of pick up and delivery throughout the season.
