Describe your role.

In my current role, I lead a team of Media Campaign Operations Specialists (7 direct reports), who drive KPM growth & executional excellence. I also work cross-functionally between a diverse range of teams (internal and external) to help contribute to the overall health and innovation of the media business, workflows and team development.   

How long have you worked in campaign operations and what inspired you to pursue this field?

I’ve been with the Campaign Operations Team for almost 5 of the 6.5 years at 84.51°. I was inspired to pursue media ops as part of my career growth and the desire to work closely on projects to directly impact Kroger customers and suppliers through our media products and innovations.  

What interested you in joining 84.51°? 

The desire of working closely with top industry leaders from which I can learn and grow. It also interested me the idea of participating in the advancement of product innovation while working among a vibrant, fun, and diverse group of people. 

What has been the most memorable experience or favorite project you’ve worked on?

The launch of Kroger Precision Marketing (KPM) and all the excitement that came with it. I loved being a key contributor from a Campaign Op lens and to experience, firsthand, the evolution of KPM and all the new faces that have joined our team.  

What’s your favorite part about working at 84.51°? Do you have a favorite benefit or perk that is offered?

The people I work with, past and present, have been key to my enjoyment at 84.51°. I recognize their influence on my personal growth and evolution. As for perks, I’d say the significant vacation and wellness days are priceless as well as our Cincy office with its gym, café, etc.  

What advice would you give to those who are considering working in this field?

To make yourself visible, ask questions, and connect! And for the media component, I’ll recommend working on building industry knowledge as this can result in innovative ideas that we can all benefit from.  

What do you like to do in your free time outside of work hours?

I like to spend time outside, whether it is taking walks with my kids (Nico and Naomi) or having a drink on our deck overlooking the Little Miami River (such a privilege on those nice weather days). I like reading and audio books, all water-related sports, visiting friends and family, going to live music shows with my husband and playing board games (I recently recruited my 4-year-old son as my new board game buddy).  

We’re leading a data revolution in the retail business, and we’re looking for partners who are ready for a deeper, more personal approach to customer engagement.
