The Path to Purchase Institute’s Women of Excellence Awards program recognizes female executives working at CPG brands, retailers, agencies and solution providers​ for their achievements in influencing the commerce marketing industry along the path to purchase.

Each year, Ad Age recognizes an exceptional group of women who empower their teams, leading fearlessly and drive innovation.

Progressive Grocer’s 2025 TWIG honorees have inspiring stories to tell of resilience, growth and triumph over adversity, and all have been able to bloom even in challenging conditions all while giving back to their community. This year we are proud to congratulate Ashley Carrico, SVP Enterprise Operations and Maria Arand, Director of Customer Strategy for their recognition.

This prestigious program honors female executives who are shaping the future of commerce marketing across CPG brands, retailers, agencies and solution providers. We’re proud to see their achievements recognized!

Christine Foster was named a Retail Innovator award winner by Retail TouchPoints. Christine stands out as a leading force in retail, driving significant positive change both within KPM and the industry at large. Her groundbreaking work in decarbonizing digital media campaigns and minimizing high-emission inventory has set new industry standards.

Each year, these awards celebrate a select cohort of remarkable women, acknowledging their significant contributions and enduring influence on their respective brands, organizations and markets. We are thankful for Sangeeta, who is driving the creation of in-house tools and establishing resilient ML Ops frameworks to guarantee operational excellence, and for Sarah, a skilled programmatic storyteller and visionary leader who inspires and influences our channel-agnostic strategy.

Halli Goddard was chosen as one of the retail industry’s “emerging leaders worth knowing” based on her business impact and contributions to the retail industry. She helped lead KPM’s collaborations with giants like Disney and Roku, as well as launching our Direct Connect solution to make Kroger audiences and measurement available for advertisers’ programmatic media buys.

This well-deserved award is a testament to Shannon’s transformational leadership of KPM’s media activation and buying team. She’s been a driving force behind the strategic evolution of KPM’s advertising operations over the past two years.

Jason Comack was recognized as one of Business Insider’s 33 “Rising Stars of AdTech,” based on his work as a product strategist for Kroger Precision Marketing’s in-house media platform.

Chosen among the top 50 Midsize Early Career Programs, this achievement celebrates our team’s commitment to shaping tomorrow’s leaders.

TWIG is more than an awards program — it’s a movement of empowered women who, through their dedication and willingness to transcend barriers, are helping to make the grocery industry more inclusive and equitable — in short, a better place to work. Congratulations to Emily Gibbons, VP, Science & Technology, and Erin Liber, VP, Partnerships, on being named to its Senior-Level Executive list.

Progressive Grocer’s 2022 class of honorees confirms that women have the talent and determination to accomplish whatever they want in grocery industry. Barbara Connors, VP or Commercial Insights, was named to its Senior-Level Executive category for her achievements in leading growth and innovation at 84.51°.

84.51° was recognized by the Healthy Business Council of Ohio (HBCO) for its healthy workplace practices and commitment to employee wellness – an achievement that reaffirms the culture and commitment to 84.51° associates.
